See Clinics for more information.

Adults

Adults are dealt with in practice nurse’s and doctors’ appointment surgeries.

We recommend that all adults have a tetanus booster every 10 years. If you have never had a tetanus injection it is important for you to have a course of three injections. Any woman who might be thinking of having children should consider having a blood test to check that she is protected against rubella (German measles). Ideally this should also be performed on women who have been vaccinated in childhood.

Anyone planning holidays abroad should check with us well before they are due to travel so that we can make sure that vaccinations are completed in time.
