As expected, the demand for the Flu Vaccine has already surpassed our expectations. We knew demand would be high this year, and clinics have now been filled for October. We have a limited number of vaccines left and have added more dates for the beginning of November. If you have not booked already, please use ‘Ask my GP’ or call to request an appointment. These are free to you if you are 65 years young and over, aged under 65 with a chronic illness, a carer or pregnant. 2-3 year old children are also eligible so please book your appointment. In addition, we are able to offer a vaccination against Shingles for those aged 70 – 79, and Pneumococcal vaccine which protects against Pneumonia for those aged 65+ or those with an illness which places them at risk. These can be done at the same time as your flu injection. Both are once in a lifetime vaccinations. These are available free of charge at your GP surgery. Thank you
Please submit any appointment requests by 11am daily. Please note we may not contact you until the following day for non-urgent requests.
